When you are starting out in your career as a DJ, you really dont need to have your own equipment. You can rent it from someone who has it or if you are going to work in a club, it will be provided for you. You can also advertise your skills. By becoming a good DJ of a private party, you will get plenty of referrals and connections.
Again, practice makes perfect and in the world of DJs, you have to be updated with the latest and the hippest music. By practicing, you will be able to wow the crowd with every mix or music you play and keep the party going for everyone.
